Skye Holland (1) - Week #27

A very happy event just took place this past week. Adrian cancelled comment moderation!!! This will easily heat things up in the blogging community. We have lost so many people this year, and the atmosphere has been so much stranger compared to when I was simply a spectator. Now, everybody can comment freely on Adrian's blog!

However, Music has been at a down. We have only two debuts in the past two weeks.

This is only the second week without a Twenty One Pilots song on the countdown since August 2015.

And, apparently even purposely making a mistake can't get me more than one comment from Chase :(

#1 song this week one year ago: Sonreal - Can I Get A Witness (1)
#1 song last week: Shaun Frank & Dyson - No Future (1)
Most missed countdown song: Snakehips/Zayn - Cruel (peak: #2)

Exits:
G-Eazy/Kehlani - Good Life (#10)[biggest drop-out EVER!!!!]
Paramore - Hard Times (#16)
Twenty One Pilots - Heathens (#30)

  1. What's so good about Despacito? It's just a generic Latin song to me.

    1. Copy-paste: t starts off with the guitar melody that lets you hear immediately when Despacito is playing. Then, Justin Bieber using his wonderful voice, in English. I will pause here and say that although Justin Bieber has a great voice, he is a horrible role model, and apparently at some bar or whatever he was asked to sing Despacito, but he didn't know the words, so he sang about burritos and doritos. Seriously, that is dissapointing. But the best singer in this song is not Justin Bieber, but Luis Fonsi. When I first got a glimpse of his voice, I thought he literally has the best singer voice on Earth right now. His voice mesmerizes you. Then, Daddy Yankee comes in and sort of raps. He has a very talented voice, but next to Luis Fonsi he is nothing. After that comes the chorus. The first part has Justin Bieber, again, using his great voice in a very catchy chorus. The second part of the chorus is easily my favourite part of the song. Luis Fonsi's voice is so incredible! Seriously I have no idea how to describe it, every time I hear it it makes me feel better in some way. For once the rapper doesn't ruin the song, also. Daddy Yankee is pretty good in his verse. The song is so good that you can simply ignore the lyrics. I will stop here, as I am taking a long time, but expect to see another paragraph like this in my top 45 songs of 2017.
