Sorry I am late. I have seasonal allergies so I got really sick. And I had a piano recital and math competition, therefore very little time on my hands! This week was definitely better than last week. But some horrible things did happen...

Ed Sheeran (6) - Week #11

Hello and welcome to my second post on this blog! If you haven't already please check out my other blog My Weekly Preferences where I post my favourite weekly songs. As for this blog, this week was horrible. Amazing songs dropped and horrible songs jumped. One debut is just strange, and our Top 8 is looking worse than ever. Three songs are in purple for encouragement :)

So L.A. Devotee debuts. Please. I will laugh if this song ever lasts more than a few weeks because it is so freaking old and boring. I hope this song can take the momentum of Death Of A Bachelor, then die down itself. Panic! At The Disco's songs, by the way, are only aired on Hits1. I did not hear them anywhere else and my radio stations have no idea who they are. Their only good song will forever be Victorious.

And Believer is exceptional. The amazing rock feel, the beat the vocals, the world class drumming, everything is put together perfectly. Imagine Dragons never cease to amaze me.

I was hoping that Green Light would pull a Make Me... and be a comeback song from a loved artist but somehow not make it on here. But I was wrong. Well, if only I weren't. Lorde has had amazing music in the past. She probably had a few of my favourite songs of the year a while ago. Royals was one of the best songs ever created. Team was better. Magnets is probably in my top 20 songs of all time. This because she used her falsetto voice. Her regular voice is horrible. Although when she uses her falsetto voice here it is find. The chorus is horrific. She destroyed her reputation with me with this song. But of course it will become popular.

Good News is a great song. The lyrics are amazing. The beat is super catchy like in their other song Photos and Liquor. I hope this song can become big because it really deserves it more than I Don't Wanna Live Forever.

Lights Down Low will never debut sadly. Except if it pulls a Once In A While (please do). It is too good for Hits 1.

I grew into American Girls and out of Swalla. I remember once when for about two months Hit-Bound had 100% great songs. Now only six songs are great.

What happened to Thumbs? Did I dream hearing it last week?

Clean Bandit released a song yesterday called Symphony with Zara Larsson. I really hope that song can debut next week because it is amazing. It is about gay blacks, which I love. Finally a song with a meaning that is actually happy, great, and not stupid. And if someone says that they don't like the song, you could just say that they are racist and homophobic. Zara Larsson deserves to come back here with Symphony. Her voice is amazing. The falsetto is mastered. The regular voice is amazing. And also, the song is super catchy. Clean Bandit does amazing, even better than in Rockabye. Please check it out, it will be worth it.

Shape of You is halfway to twelve weeks at #1. It is the only good song in the top 8, so I will not complain if it gets there.

What happened with #2 and #3? Closer should be long gone, and Cold... well... my sister loves it, but I don't. So please leave us soon with I Don't Wanna Live Forever.

Say You Won't Let Go is pulling an Unsteady. Jumping enormously up and down and up. Plus they sound alike.

Speaking of Unsteady, HOLD ON FOR JUST THREE MORE WEEKS!!!

Yay for the jump from Castle On The Hill. It deserved it. I hope this can become a hit.

The drops from #4 and #5 from last week were necessary, but I grew back into them.

Miss You should really not jump this high or I will get sick of it faster...

What's with the jump from Scars To Your Beautiful? I found this one week after it was released on youtube. Hits 1 picks it up four months later as always, but now jumping up twelve spots? Seriously?

I am surprised that Love On The Brain is not higher. This whole week I heard it five times per hour. It really is overrated and overplayed.

Goodbye Side To Side.

Worst for last because. We have SO many drops from great songs. Heavy, Heavydirtysoul, and I Got You really should be up there in the Top 8 instead of what we have now. These are high-quality songs that should all jump back up thirty spots next week.
